SE-200/201 (NO2200/2210)

SECORP designation (UNS NO.)

SE-200: Commercially pure wrought nickel, relatively low strength. Good resistance to outdoor and marine environment. Excellent resistance to caustic alkalies, hydrofluoric acid. High thermal and electrical conductivity at realitively low temperatures.

SE-201: Commercially pure nickel with low carbon content (0.02% max). Pressure-vessel regulations permit the use of this material at temperatures up to 600°C and up to 450°C for caustic soda evaporators.

Major Applications

Equipment for caustic manufacturing and storage, synthetic fibre production. Electronic components. Magnetoresistive devices. Food Processing and chemical equipment.
