A precipitation hardenable quality with a wide acceptance on applications. Offers a combination of high strength and hardness. Excellent resistance to crack propagation & stress-corrosion cracking in marine environment. Simple heat treatment by a temperature between 482-621°C air-cooled to achieve properties desired.

Major Applications

 

Use where good ductility at subzero temperatures for some applications. Mainly specified for high temperature & abrasion resistance.
